Custom-made to cover the front of your teeth, veneers are used to modify the appearance of your teeth to improve their appearance. With proper care, maintenance and hygiene, some veneers can last up to 20 years, ensuring that you’ll have a long-lasting new smile.
We recommend veneers to help with a range of conditions, including stained, chipped or broken teeth and can even fix slight misalignments. They can also be used when you’re concerned about prominent gaps between your teeth.
Veneers are made from either composite resin or porcelain. Composite veneers are more affordable and irreversible, but slightly less durable and more susceptible to staining over time. However, they require fewer visits to your dentist, are less invasive to install and easier to repair if damaged compared to porcelain.
Porcelain veneers on the other hand, will permanently augment the structure of your tooth. They are custom made and better mimic the appearance of your existing tooth enamel.
Composite veneers are applied to your teeth in a single visit to your dentist, with a colour matched resin mixture contoured, shaped and moulded on the surface of your teeth.
It is then quickly cured, or hardened, with a high intensity UV light, before being trimmed and polished, resulting in a similar look and finish to your natural enamel.

Then, we’ll send it to our laboratory to create a customised shell, which is then carefully bonded to each tooth by your dentist.

A more affordable alternative to veneers, cosmetic bonding is a painless and minimally invasive procedure that is usually performed in a single visit to help restore your smile.
Our dentists use a composite resin that is formulated to match the colour of your teeth to repair mildly cracked, fractured, chipped or discoloured teeth, and also fill small gaps between your teeth. It can even be used to protect your teeth if they are exposed by receding gums.
Our dentists will begin by selecting a shade of composite resin that matches the rest of your teeth, then prepare the surface of the tooth so it’s ready for the application of resin.
The composite resin is then carefully applied to your teeth in the areas that need fixing.It is then manipulated into the correct shape and thickness before being exposed to a UV light to cure it.
Once it has hardened completely, our dentists will tidy up the bonded area by trimming and polishing it so it blends seamlessly with the rest of your teeth. This process is fast, so you’ll leave our clinic with a fabulous new look straight away.
